When you have a subscription to TomTom Speed Cameras service, speed camera information is constantly being updated unless the connection to the TomTom server is lost.
You can see if the service is currently receiving updates from the TomTom server by looking at the colour of the alert symbols in the Driving View:

When the service is receiving updates from TomTom, the lower part of the alert symbol and the alert symbol shown on your route are blue. |

When the service is not able to receive updates from the TomTom server, the lower part of the alert symbol is grey and the symbol shown on your route is black. |
Your Speed Cameras service may not be receiving updates from TomTom due to one or more of the following reasons:
