Voices

• Voice selection

  Tap a voice to select it. When you select a voice, a sample of that voice is played.

  You can choose from two different kinds of voices.

  • A basic voice reads the driving instructions but does not read the street names, road numbers or signs.
  • An advanced voice gives driving instructions and pronounces street names, signs and status messages. You can only use an advanced voice that is in the language your device uses. You must select an advanced voice to be able to select the following options:
• Read aloud road numbers
• Read aloud street names
