You are warned about the following types of cameras and safety-related road features:

Red light camera. This can be a camera with or without speed detection. |

Miscellaneous safety camera. |

Speed trap. You are warned about speed traps only when you have the Speed Cameras service. The TomTom app remembers speed traps for three hours after you report them. |

Toll booth camera. |

Restricted-road safety camera. These cameras check for vehicles that use restricted roads, for example a road that is not permitted to be used during rush hour. |

Speed trap hotspot. You are warned about speed trap hotspots only when you have the Speed Cameras service. These are areas in which there have been many reports of speed traps being used. |

Average speed cameras - start of zone warning. This warning stays visible while you are driving in the average speed zone. If you drive at or below the speed limit no warning sound is given. If you drive above the speed limit you hear a warning sound one time only. If you decrease your speed to below the speed limit then later drive above the speed limit again, you hear the warning sound again one time only. |
