Checking the connection

Follow these steps to check the status of the connection to TomTom:

  1. Select Connected Services in the Main Menu.
  2. Check the Connection status:

    Important: Your device can be connected to TomTom, but your device might not yet have access to TomTom services. You must first log in with a MyTomTom account to access TomTom services.

    Note: Always-connected devices will connect to TomTom automatically. Smartphone-connected devices connect using your smartphone.

  3. Select Connection status to find out more about the connection to TomTom.
  4. Select a TomTom service from the list of services to check the status of that service.

    Tip: You must create a new MyTomTom account or login to your existing MyTomTom account to access TomTom services.
